USA! USA!! USA!!!

September 14, 2023–Is it old hat by now to hear crowds chanting, USA! USA! USA! at the sight of Donald J. Trump or is it possible that crowds welcoming Trump as they did at Saturday’s Iowa-Iowa State college football game at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa are actually increasingly enthusiastic and growing in numbers?

Whether he goes to a UFC fight, headlines a campaign rally, or holds private events at venues like his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, Trump is met with an enthusiasm from audiences reserved for rock stars. He has achieved almost mythical status as a cultural icon.

Brietbart captured Trump’s visit to the Alpha Gamma Rho, an agriculture fraternity house, on the Iowa State campus in a series of eight videos and photos. He posed for a group photo with them and told them, “You’re young, you’re handsome…I’d trade you right now.”

These videos, while not an unusually positive reception for a Trump appearance, are precious. Go here for more: https://tinyurl.com/c6mtb77p

A mainstay of Trump’s message to Iowa and other agricultural-based states, has always been what he has done to help agriculture when he was president. In every speech he cites how he funneled $30 billion in farm subsidies to farmers as a result of the tariffs he extracted from China.

His stop at an ag frat house just drives his commitment to Iowa’s farmers home.

Trump accomplished a lot more than a photo op in his seventh visit during this campaign to the Hawkeye State. A few stats from a Trump-issued press release bear this out:

  • Added more than 2,250 signed Caucus pledge cards during his multi-stop visit on Saturday, bringing the total collected to more than 27,500 in advance of the January Caucuses.
  • The Iowa team has recruited over 1000 Trump Precinct Captains
  • President Trump’s campaign was the first to announce over 200 county chairs in all 99 counties
  • The campaign team now has over 1500 Unique In-State Volunteers.

The latest polling shows Trump is ahead of his closest rival by 37 points. For the complete story, click here.

Trump Aims Frat House Humor at Sweater Vest Ron

Trump watchers know that Trump’s humor – while not to everyone’s liking – is really not far removed from the frat house. We’d like to pretend he was influenced by his visit to Alpha Gamma Rho Saturday, but we all know Trump’s humor has always been more adolescent boy than wryly sophisticated adult.

A fan is caught giving the finger to Ron DeSantis at the Iowa-Iowa State game Saturday. Yes, Ron was there too. Trump issued his jabs in an ICYMI email blast:

The Ron DeSanctimonious visit to Iowa was a complete dud. Perhaps to Ron’s benefit, hardly anyone even knew who he was—because those few who did recognize him trolled him at every turn.

Despite temperatures hovering around 80 degrees yesterday in Ames, it appears Jeff Roe required Ron to wear his sweater vest all day long.

Trump issues a daily countdown in is ICYMI emails now since Jeff Roe, who heads the Never Back Down PAC for DeSantis, told him to beat Trump in 60 days. Trump derisively calls it the Always Back Down PAC.

Trump included links to articles covering Trump’s ‘huge cheering crowds’ at the end of his ‘roast’…Go here for more.

What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger

The dark side of the fun that follows our favorite president wherever he goes is that underneath the positive front, Donald Trump’s every move is dogged by the ‘Marxists, fascists, and communists’ who are using so-called lawfare to destroy any chance of his regaining the White House.

Considering the enormous pressure his legal burdens pose (the 91 indictments handed down by four courts in five months – all emanating from ultra-liberal DAs), he demonstrates day in and day out that the forces arrayed against him will not curtail his public appearances or prevent him from speaking out on the campaign trail.

The crowd may chant, USA, USA, USA – his rejoinder has always been:

I will never give in, I will never give up and I will never ever stop fighting for you, the American people!

All reasonable Constitutional legal experts agree that every one of these indictments are spurious. In yet another ‘novel’ legal attack, there are fresh threats being mounted against him using the 14th Amendment to remove him from state ballots.

“It would all go away tomorrow, if I just announced I wasn’t running anymore,” he tells audiences now. He may joke about ‘these indictments’ saying, “They didn’t teach us the meaning of that word indictment when I was at Wharton.” That care-free jocularity is in evidence at events like in Ames, Iowa as he flipped burgers and tossed footballs out to a crowd. (Photo gallery below.)

How is it possible that he can withstand these burdens and not show it?

After his big event in South Dakota (covered here) where he received a big endorsement from South Dakota Republican Governor, Kristi Noem, last Friday, he was in Ames the next day.

For the last few weeks, we’ve said Trump is The Man in the Arena. He epitomizes, ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.’ The more modern expression is “anti-fragilista,” the term coined by author and mathematical statistician, Nassim Nicholas Taleb, in his book, “Anti-fragile: Things that Gain from Disorder,”

Fragilistas, according to Taleb, are less apt to survive (a good example might be Florida Governor Ron DeSantis) while the anti-fragile like Trump, make it. Trump is unquestionably the most stress-tested human being on the planet and yet it seems it is making him stronger.

His poll numbers go up after every indictment; his fundraising numbers are going through the roof, and by the looks of crowds at campaign stops — Trump is drawing more and more people to his America First movement.

Six-seven thousand people filled an arena in Rapid City, SD; while it seemed the entire Jack Trice Stadium were on their feet cheering his arrival.

Trump is often depicted with lions. We can guess why: He has the courage to walk into the proverbial lion’s den taking on the so-called forces arrayed against him.
