Brandon’s Satanic Branding v. America First
Not earth-shattering news, but did you notice Donald Trump posted a new profile pic on Truth Social? He swapped out the old one for a painting (artist unknown) of his face covered in America’s stars and stripes.
The switch came at the end of January, right after his first two 2024 campaign events in NH and SC. Trump fully embraces depictions of him coming from popular MAGA culture. His new profile pic personifies his hero status yet again. He is Trump as Braveheart, Trump as Atlas, Trump as Sisyphus…Trump as the Man in the Arena. He is Trump as the sole champion of his eponymous America First movement.
Trump’s branding from the start of his 2016 campaign has always been firmly grounded in traditional red, white, and blue, the colors of our flag. Unlike Democrats starting with Obama’s ’08 campaign who have adopted off shades of greens and blues in their signage, Trump has not played with either the hues or the proportions of our colors in any of his branding.
Brandon has pushed Obama’s non-standard branding even further with his startling speech last September on a stage that was bathed in what most pundits could only describe as ‘Satanic red.’ Steve Cortes called it “The Red Sermon.”
As always, we note the stark contrast between anything Trump and anything the current occupant.
Since Biden’s ‘Satanic’ speech, we have seen blatant Satanic iconography in two mainstream cultural forums, namely singer Sam Smith’s performance of his song, “Unholy” at this year’s Grammy Music Awards, and the Superbowl half-time show featuring singer Rihanna. (To be fair, rock stars like Ozzie Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and many others have played with Satanic imagery in previous eras. Key difference – we knew they were play acting. Not so now.)
Republicans, MAGA, Trump voters, conservatives, and anyone on the right side of the political spectrum are to a person shocked by the Satanic images flooding our mainstream culture while Democrats typically are silent.
Adding to bathed-in-Satanic-red entertainment stages, we’ve recently seen a Baphomet-like statue honoring the late Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, erected in front of New York’s appellate division court located in the Flatiron district. Pop icon Madonna shocked us at this year’s Grammy’s too. She now looks — after much obvious plastic surgery that makes her almost unrecognizable as herself — more like an incarnation of Baphomet, rather the latest Ginsburg statue. (There are others which are equally controversial but for different reasons.)
What is going on?
Why no outrage from all quarters of our society?
Is it possible Democrats — let’s call them Demonrats because they’ve earned it — like Satanic iconography? Is it possible Demoncrats either relate to this new branding — and it comes from the current occupant, the top down — or they think it’s harmless. It’s just show biz to them?
Unlike Donald Trump’s continued emphasis on America First in his branding — as revealed through our flag and other symbols — there is no vestige of our shared American identity present either coming from this president or increasingly from the culture at-large.
CBS, the network that aired the Grammy’s, tweeted ‘we are ready to worship’ during Smith’s performance of “Unholy.” It has since been removed but you can see it here.
Other than Satan, what else is this new branding pointing to?
My bet? China.
The image that drove this conclusion home for me and it was a long time ago is the one seen in the upper right hand corner of the meme on the second row of the gallery below of a woman wearing an all red latex outfit carrying two “demonic” babies in her arms. This is just one of many similarly demonic shots from a fashion runway show in China seven years ago in 2016.

And what is our favorite president doing? Just the opposite. He is attempting to normalize America.
Balloongate: Shoot It Down!
As of yesterday, four balloons have been shot down by the U.S. military. The first and so far the only one that the Defense Department really admits was a Chinese surveillance device was shot down off the coast of South Carolina in the Atlantic Ocean after it had traversed our skies for a week.
Reaction from Republicans and right-leaning media swiftly criticized Biden for his inaction.
It took Brandon a week to give the order to shoot down the first balloon, a known surveillance device that was in violation of international law from the moment it entered our air space in Alaska.
Bloomberg reports the discrepancy everyone noticed when Biden first explained to reporters that he wanted to shoot down the balloon but the military told him to wait ‘until it reached a safer place’ to shoot it down.
Right-wing media said, Who the heck is in charge of our country while outlets like Bloomberg News downplayed the threat from the Chinese and papered over any suggestion that Biden did not act in our best interests by allowing an espionage device to fly over the heartland of America for so long.
Conceivably, if the first balloon had not been sighted by Chase Doak, an ordinary citizen who took a video of what he saw when he looked up to the sky as he left work the night of February 1 in Billings, Montana, our military might have done nothing.
The first Chinese balloon was allowed to finish its course from Montana to the coast of South Carolina gathering strategic information about us all that time. Mission accomplished. The second balloon was shot down over Alaska, the third in Canada with PM Justin Trudeau’s permission, and the fourth just the other night over Lake Huron after Michigan’s air space had been cleared.
We have been swimming in funny memes since the appearance of the first balloon. One that got almost everyone I know including myself blocked on Facebook was of Hunter Biden in his best “Laptop from Hell” outfit, tied aloft to China’s balloon.
It was not by any stretch the funniest or most controversial balloon-gate meme we saw but it. The regime had to ‘protect’ poor Hunter from ‘images that violate community standards’…
Soon, as we might have expected, the media was told to cover Brandon’s ass so they concocted the narrative that Chinese spy balloons flew over the U.S. under the Trump administration. It was nothing unusual nor did it pose a security threat.
Republicans including Trump hater and his former National Security Adviser, John Bolton, issued firm denials of these occurrences and before long it seemed everyone connected to the Trump administration whether it was Mike Pompeo, former Secretary of State, or his DNIs and others had rebuked these false claims.
Somewhere between admitting the first balloon was a surveillance device ‘the size of two school buses’ and crafting yet another lie about Trump, administration spokespeople tried to allude to these balloons as ‘unidentified flying objects’ or UFOs. Actually now they are referred to as Currently Unidentified Flying Objects.

NORAD General, Glen Vanherck when asked what these objects are, says, “We can’t rule anything out.”
It would appear this statement is a deliberate attempt to misdirect. The American people are being asked to not believe their lyin’ eyes — on yet another major event impacting our lives.
Funny memes aside, most people are taking these events very seriously. Brett Velicovich, ex-U.S. Army intel, drone operator, and special ops soldier, says, “This is Chinese espionage in our space. It is a violation of international law; and, it shows we are at war with China.”

It took Trump four minutes and four words to assess the nature of this threat. There is simply no comparison between how Trump would handle if in office compared to the current occupant.
Sad.
Trump’s Play-by-Play of SOTU
By now the best bits of Biden’s SOTU speech of last week, have been digested. Most people I know cannot listen to this president for more than five minutes. The media has to watch for us. It’s one of the few jobs left that they do on our behalf that I can appreciate.
Trump watched too of course. He is, as the founder of Truth Social, the head of a media company now.
He provided us with the best play-by-play coverage of anyone. He is the most knowledgeable fact checker in the world. Afterall, it was his policies which he knows inside out he was defending. I’ve always seen him as a Hear ye, Hear ye Read All About It Chronicler even before he started his social media platform.
FTR, I agreed with all of his personal jabs and asides. Jill did look nice in fuchsia. McConnell did look like hell. McCarthy did adopt a proper demeanor; and, yes Brandon’s overuse of ‘folks’ is something of a nervous tic and it’s annoying. Obama started it.
